  Why the Deficit at the Circuit Assembly?

  have you ever wondered why there is always a deficit at the circuit assembly?

  did you realize that before the program begins, the circuit is already in the red?

  many of the friends thought they were paying for the use of the building and covering the costs of the utilities, etc.

  Un-****ing-Believable

  just a few observations from this morning.

  .. this morning as i was trying to choke back the bile that kept wanting to come up during the wt study one comment in particular screamed cult.. towards the very end as comments were being made about "counseling" others with "gracious" words one of the uber-dub minstral-serpents made this comment, "we see in the last image that the brother is holding a bible as he counsels the other brother.

  we look closely at the picture and we can know exactly what he is counseling the brother about.

  Where are the EXJW Feminist Philosophers?

  i am working, more in the planning stages, where i am going to offer a commentary on the caleb and sophia cartoons that the org puts out.

  i noticed a heavily patriarchal bent to the narrative that these cartoons offer.

  i would really enjoy working with someone who has an academic background in feminist philosophy, or at least someone knowledgeable.

  my first painting after my cataract oeration

  have only just been able to paint again after a cataract operation in september.

  i had complications which meant my short sight has been compromised but following some surgery the fluid buildup seems to have cleared and i have started painting again.

  this is a larger rendition of an earlier piece, such a relief to be ble to see the paper again..

  talesin '...Feminist talk is not welcomed here. If it's mentioned, there are one or two prolific members that I guess, feel the need to be rude and demeaning (showing their ignorance)...'

  Do you conclude that feminist talk is not welcome here because of one or two rude and ignorant people? Just invite them to close the door quietly on their way out. Many more here will show respect to your thoughts and ideas.

  Freddy Franz, One of the smartest men of his day????

  back in my teen years this story swept through jw land, that according to, the guinness book of records , freddy franz, was listed as one of the seven, most intelligent , men in the world.

  dose anyone else remember this?

  i remember trying to look it up, but never found anything in print, and ii point that out once or twice , and was told a co, had told about it, and he wouldn't lie!

  I heard he memorized it forwards AND backwards. Which explains some of the screwball teachings he came up with.

  Always talked like he had just just received his grandiose bluff and fluff from Mt. Sinai itself.
